Funding to boost safer venues
A major step has taken place to make Western Australia’s music venues safer, with a $60,000 investment from the State Government’s Contemporary Music Fund.
Community sector organisation Safer Venues WA will work with venues, audiences and the broader industry to improve inclusivity and personal safety, develop resources to create awareness and provide valuable training and educational tools.
Diversity is a priority of the Contemporary Music Fund which will deliver a total of $3 million into WA’s contemporary music sector over four years.
