Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing

How many times have you been asked for the same information from different government agencies? For some of you the answer will be "a lot".

We recognise you should only have to tell us once when you move house, or a loved one passes away.  And if you want to get those services online, you should be able to.

Did you know that WA is one of only two States in Australia not to have legislation covering privacy and/or information sharing in the public sector?

Take a look at the discussion paper and other resources on the proposed approach to better protecting your privacy and what this means for you, your family, and your community. Submissions are due 1 November 2019.

Further information, including opportunities for comments and submissions can be accessed at WA.gov.au.
