Operational Guidelines
To reflect the changes introduced by the Local Government Legislation Amendment Act 2019, the department has updated some of the Operational Guidelines.
The following updated guidelines are now available on the department’s website:
- Operational Guideline – Disclosure of interests affecting impartiality
- Operational Guideline – Primary and Annual Returns
In addition, the department has published two new guidelines:
- Operational Guideline – Attendance at events policy
- Operational Guideline – Disclosure of gifts and disclosure of interests relating to gifts
The department will be updating additional operational guidelines, including Operational Guideline – Declaring financial interests in meetings, which will be published on the website in the coming weeks.
