New jobs on offer at the New Museum

Jun 3, 2020, 09:11 AM

The New Museum for Western Australia is on track to open in the Perth Cultural Centre in November 2020, and there are up to 30 new permanent positions advertised for frontline Visitor Services staff, plus a pool of casual staff.

The positions are a mix of full-time and part-time Visitor Services Officer (VSO) roles. VSOs are key to every Museum visitor’s journey, helping them find the exhibitions, objects and stories they want to explore further, and to create memorable experiences.

The New Museum will share the stories of Western Australia’s people and places. People from diverse backgrounds are actively encouraged to apply for these positions.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from multicultural backgrounds will be an important part of the team sharing the stories of our State with the rest of the world.

We’d love you to forward this to your contacts to encourage people to apply for these exciting roles.
