True Sport a game changer for WA sport sector
The State Government has awarded SportWest more than $440,000 to develop an initiative that invests in the future of the Western Australian sport sector.
SportWest's True Sport initiative will enable a cohesive, all sport approach that will align values and cultures for sport delivery across WA and enrich the sporting experience for all participants.
Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman today joined SportWest Chief Executive Officer Matt Fulton to announce the funding partnership with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).
True Sport is a contemporary approach that recognises and supports the changing landscape of sport delivery and will continue to evolve, guided by the needs of the industry.
The initiative is specifically designed for the industry, by the industry to enrich the sport experience in WA.
