Notice of Extension of Remediation Period
On 26 March 2024, the Minister for Racing and Gaming, the Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA, announced his decision to extend the initial 2-year remediation period for the casino licensee.
Crown Perth will be given an extra 4 months, or until 31 January 2025, to complete its remediation plan which will be assessed and approved by the Independent Monitor to ensure it satisfies the findings and recommendations of the Royal Commission’s final report.
