Entries now open for local innovators and exporters
We know WA’s creatives punch well above their weight. This is your chance to be recognised. Two awards programs opened in early May recognising local achievements.
WA Export Awards
The WA Export Awards are back, once again including the Creative Industries category as well as the addition of a new category, First Nations exporter.
Participating in the WA Export Awards provides businesses with valuable opportunities to refine business strategy, enhance business credibility, increase exposure and celebrate achievements.
Entrants can also qualify for national recognition with all WA winners automatically progressing as finalists in the Australian Export Awards, where they will compete at a national level.
Applications to these awards close on 13 June 2025.
Western Australia's Innovators of the Year (WAIOTY) Awards
Western Australia's Innovators of the Year (WAIOTY) Awards has showcased innovative and entrepreneurial individuals, businesses and creative minds since 2006.
Now in its 19th year, the 2025 program recognises WA innovators across seven categories and this year introduces the new category, Young Innovators of the Year, Category winners will share in the program's largest ever prize pool of over $280,000.
In addition to the funding available, the program offers all finalists:
- A professionally edited video of their innovation which is shown at the Awards Ceremony and is gifted to the finalist following the conclusion of the program for marketing and promotion of their business and innovation.
- Professional photographs of the company and their innovation.
- Featured in a Business News full-page spread with their finalist peers.
- An invitation to an 'Accelerator Program', with workshops and webinars to refine your pitch presentation, protect your IP, grant writing and more.
Applications to the following five categories close at 11:00am (AWST) Wednesday 11 June 2025.
