State Cabinet records in the State Archives have been opened to the public after 30 years to reveal official decisions that have shaped our Western Australia.

The 1994 State Cabinet records are held by the State Records Office (SRO) at the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport.

The SRO is responsible for managing, preserving, and providing the community with an information service about the State's archives collection.

The Guide to 1994 State Cabinet Records describes the papers, key issues, and historical context for decisions at the time.

Original documents can be viewed by appointment at the Battye Library for West Australian History in the State Library and State Archives, Perth Cultural Centre.

Research support appointments can be booked online.
