The WA Government is investing in Western Australia's growing creative economy, awarding the 2026 Perth Design Week a $100,000 funding boost.

Since its inception in 2022, Perth Design Week has quickly established itself as one of the State's most exciting cultural events, showcasing design excellence, sparking innovation and connecting Perth to other global design capitals such as Milan, London and New York.

2025 Perth Design Week attracted more than 55,000 visitors to free and affordable exhibitions, talks, workshops, and installations across Perth and surrounding suburbs, supported by over 90 local organisations.

Due to its exponential growth, in 2026, Perth Design Week will present as PDW/10 - a curated line-up of 10 major events from 19 to 26 March - while focusing on increasing organisational sustainability. In 2027, it plans to return with PDW/100, an even bigger program of largely free events for WA audiences.

This funding not only empowers WA designers, but it also positions our State as a global hub for creativity and sustainable design into the future.
