A multi-million-dollar facility in the heart of Ellenbrook has officially opened.
The development of the Ellenbrook Community Centre was managed by the City of Swan and supported by a $3.5 million WA Government election commitment.
The $7.5 million project was also made possible through a $2 million investment from the Commonwealth Government and a $2 million Lotterywest grant. The City of Swan provided the land and $500,000 for landscaping.
Construction began in December 2024 and was completed late last year. A community open day was held on Saturday 31 January.
The Centre, on Cashman Avenue, will be the shared home for community groups, including the Ellenbrook Men's Shed, Ellenbrook RSL and several multicultural associations.
