This forum is a valuable networking opportunity for the wider trails community including land managers, government agencies, local government officers, trails advocates, the corporate sector, educators and volunteers.

This is a free event with a light lunch provided.

Keynote presentation: Warburton Trail Planning. Matt Harrington, Senior Project Manager with the Yarra Ranges Council will share his insights into getting the planning right for a major trail project in Victoria.

Keynote presentation: Red Centre Trails. Chris Day, Senior Director Parks and Wildlife Operations with the Northern Territory Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture provides an overview of the success of the Larapinta hiking trail and the planning for a major mountain bike development.

Trail Towns and Trails WA: An update from our leading trails organisation.

Collie and Dwellingup: WA's major trails projects presented by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.

Lessons from Abroad: What West Aussies have learned from attending international trails events presented by Melina Mellino, Director of Perth Trails Series and Steve Bennett, Senior Policy Officer for the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries.

More Participation, A Common Language: the Australian Adventure Activity Standards presented by Jamie Bennett, Outdoors WA.

Development of Experiential Trails. A presentation by Claire Savage from Savagely Creative on behalf of Tourism WA.
