The department is hosting an interactive webinar, in partnership with Infrastructure WA, to update local governments on the development of the State Infrastructure Strategy.

The strategy will provide a 20-year blueprint to help guide future infrastructure needs and priorities. Feedback collected from the webinar will be considered in the development of the strategy.

What to expect

An update from Infrastructure WA CEO Phillip Helberg, Deputy Chair Nicole Lockwood and Deputy CEO Lance Glare, on the State Infrastructure Strategy’s development including:

• the State’s infrastructure vision and key opportunity areas
• what local governments said through the State Infrastructure Strategy consultation, which took place from 26 June 2020 and 21 August 2020.

A Stronger Tomorrow – State Infrastructure Strategy Discussion Paper was released to encourage constructive conversation during the consultation process.

The Discussion Paper Outcomes report (PDF 2.63 MB) is also available on the Infrastructure WA website.
