Ensure your organisation is well equipped to stay safe online, protect personal information and avoid the common pitfalls of cyber threats with this insightful in-person workshop delivered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) in partnership with Cohesis.

Participants will learn about:

  • the risks and business impacts of cyber attacks
  • real life case studies of cyber attacks which organisations can expect to come across
  • simple risk mitigation strategies
  • basic IT governance
  • the dark web.

Participants will also have the unique opportunity to bring their organisation's cyber security/ICT policies in to the workshop to compare them to best practice policies, and will be taken through how to improve them and implement them at their organisations effectively.

This workshop will be delivered in-person on Wednesday 30 November from 10am to 2:30pm at DLGSC Leederville.
