Accommodation at Bickley

Bickley offers both dormitory accommodation and a camping area in a beautiful bush setting.

Bickley has three distinct areas:

  1. Kookaburra dormitories
  2. Billabong tent area
  3. Billabong day area.

Access to particular facilities is dependant upon your booking.

Our accommodation areas have a standard check-in time from Monday to Saturday of 2 pm and a check-out time of 10 am. Sunday and public holidays have a check-in time of 5 pm and check-out time of 2 pm. Alternative arrival and departure times may be arranged by contacting the camp directly.

Kookaburra dormitories

The dormitories are in close proximity to each other and are separated by a common grassed area. 

The Kookaburra dormitories:

  • are in the main part of the camp
  • sleep up to 64 people in bunk beds with eight bunks per quarter
  • have four sleeping areas (Marri, Banksia, Wandoo, Jarrah)
  • have shared and disabled ablutions
  • have extensive covered verandas
  • have catering options available through Accolade Catering or or you can self-cater
  • have a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend)
  • have the Leader’s accommodation building which sleeps a total of 12 people in bunk beds. It has 2 separate rooms with 3 king size single bunks in each room. The ablutions are located adjacent to this building.

Kookaburra dormitories

Billabong tent area

The Billabong tent area:

  • sleeps up to 50 people comfortably
  • has shared external ablutions
  • available facilities include a gazebo (seats 25), wood campfire rings and gas barbecue
  • has a minimum stay of one night
  • self-catering or catering available through Accolade Catering.

The Billabong day area:

  • can accommodate up to 100 day visitors
  • has heavy duty picnic tables, a gazebo that can seat approximately 25 people
  • has shared external ablutions
  • self-catering or catering available through Accolade Catering.
