About AHWA

AHWA helps reconnect Aboriginal people with their family history through professional research. This includes accessing restricted government welfare files held at the State Records Office.

We also undertake truth telling projects so that WA’s Aboriginal history is recorded, acknowledged, understood and available for current and future generations.

About Storylines

Storylines is an Indigenous online archive managed and hosted by the State Library.

It features more then 12,000 photos and materials that can help you to find information about your family and provides a safe place to share materials about Aboriginal people from WA.
