Intro

With practical, actionable steps, these interactive sessions will equip you with the tools and insights needed to cultivate a sport that truly embraces diversity and inclusivity and drives participation.

Let’s lead the way in inspiring meaningful change on and off the field!

Why inclusive participation matters

This session will explore the personal, community, and societal value of inclusive sport participation, moving beyond the traditional 'numbers game' of participation rates.

Drawing from real stories and evidence, the webinar will highlight why inclusion is not just an ethical imperative but important for sport and recreation business, sustainability, growth and relevance in Australia.

It will also touch on preferential treatment in sport and how exclusion — intentional or not — can have long-term negative consequences on individuals, the system and performance outcomes.

Who should attend

These webinars are designed to empower state sporting associations and state active recreation organisations to become champions of participation and inclusion.

Inclusion, participation or development officers and/or CEOs, general managers responsible for inclusion and participation are encouraged to attend.

One registration per person is required. This webinar is online.
