The department has
undertaken a tremendous amount of work and consultation in the
development of the Liquor Control Amendment Bill 2018 which builds upon
the revolutionary laws that saw the growth of the small bar scene in
Perth in 2007.
Among the suite of changes, patrons will be able
to take home partially-consumed wine from a small bar or tavern if they
choose to finish it later, which currently only applies to restaurants.
