Aerial view of Optus Stadium

The platform, located on the western side of the stadium roof, projects around five metres beyond the edge of the roof, allowing tour groups to access one of the best views of any stadium in the world.

Adding to the popular rooftop walk at Optus Stadium, the new platform will also allow the more daring participants to lean out from a rail-less platform towards the playing field.

The new structure is complimentary to the iconic Optus Stadium design, with similar materials used on the viewing platform.

It will provide a 360-degree view to visitors of all ages and abilities with unparalleled views of Perth's landscape — from the Perth Hills in the east to the city in the west.

The visitor experience will add to the already successful HALO rooftop tours, continuing the stadium and its parklands' status as one of Perth's top attractions.

The new platform is scheduled to open to the public in 2022 and will be accessible to all ages and abilities, with lift access for members of the public that require it, enabling them to move freely within the attraction and take in the magnificent view.

A key priority of the State Government and VenuesWest was to ensure that this experience is accessible to as many people as possible.

Guest safety is a top priority and visitors will be harnessed in during the activities above the field of play but will be able to walk freely throughout the rest of the experience.
