The Minister spoke on his vision for WA’s local government sector, with a focus on reducing red tape; greater transparency, accountability and simplicity; clearer roles and responsibilities; stronger financial reporting and accountability; earlier intervention, streamlined resolution and stronger penalties.
Minister Carey also took questions from delegates.
