Children and young people across WA were asked to share their thoughts about where they live and how it could change for the better. The My Place in WA report provides a sample of the findings.
What is clear is that children and young people want to be included in the conversation about the design of their local communities — and they have great ideas on how their environments can be made more child and youth friendly.
The DLGSC is continuing to work across agencies to create a safer WA for children and young people by responding to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
