Intro
The existing facility is being demolished and a new pavilion will be constructed featuring sustainable, inclusive, multi-purpose sports facilities and grandstand seating.
On completion, Hands Oval will be able to accommodate year-round sport, recreation and community activity including major events, and will be capable of accommodating pre-season AFL and AFLW games.
Total funding for the project is $17.42 million with other contributions from the Australian Government, the City of Bunbury and the South West Football League.
Construction is expected to be completed by May 2024.
