Intro
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) is calling for grant submissions to its Coaching and Officiating Grants Program.
The program provides grants of up to $15,000 to state sporting organisations to create sustainable strategies and initiatives that will attract and develop new and existing coaches and officials across WA.
Previous recipient organisations have used the funding to help coaches in obtaining accreditations, deliver conferences to develop coaching skills to support participants with disabilities, upskilling officials in regional WA, and mentoring programs.
DLGSC encourages eligible smaller state sporting associations across the state to apply.
Applications close 5:00pm (AWST) on Monday 12 February 2024.
