The $6 million project is supported with a $2.4 million investment from the WA Government and will include the construction of three new changerooms for players, an umpires changeroom, first aid room, storage, and new internal toilets.
The facility improvements will also include refurbishing four existing changerooms, kitchen and social areas.
The Norm Sadler Pavilion supports a variety of local community sports including Baseball, Cricket, Football (Soccer), Teeball and Softball with the facility being home to local teams, the Kalamunda Rangers and Kalamunda City Football Club.
The City of Kalamunda awarded the tender for redevelopment works to local WA business AE Hoskins Building Services in Balcatta.
The Kalamunda community will soon benefit from this revitalised recreational facility, with an expected 12-month construction time.
