A total of $381,612 in grants from the Creativity for Schools - Collaboration and Creativity for Schools - Residency programs will help connect the skills and talents of Western Australian artists to children and young people.
A total of seven new initiatives will share $362,411 in grants from the 2025-26 Collaboration program, alongside $19,201 awarded to a new Residency project.
The two program categories, Collaboration and Residency, support activities using arts-based practice to engage students in their learning beyond arts curriculum areas.
Residency grants of up to $20,000 are awarded for projects involving artists-in-residence in school environments, with the activity including approximately 25 days of engagement per school.
Grants of up to $60,000 for Collaboration projects and/or programs are designed to connect WA arts organisations and creative practitioners with schools.
These projects will embed creativity across curriculum areas, increase access to the arts, and allow students, teachers and school communities the opportunity to enrich their learning in a fun and engaging way.
