The Aboriginal Cultural Centre Steering Committee (Phase 2) held an out of session meeting on 3 October 2025, followed by a committee meeting on 24 October 2025.

At the 3 October 2025 meeting, the Chair presented the updated Project Definition Plan (PDP) and accompanying 19 appendices to the Steering Committee, who provided their endorsement.

The Steering Committee gathered on 24 October 2025 for the final Aboriginal Cultural Centre Steering Committee for phase 2 of the project.

The Steering Committee noted the following items:

• Project Governance Report; and
• Operating Entity model Report.

The Steering Committee endorsed the following items:

• Stakeholder Engagement Report
• Communications Dashboard Report
• Project Control Group Sub-Committee Update
• Risks and Issues Register
• Project Progress Report.

It was noted that the ACC Steering Committee was scheduled to conclude following completion of the PDP, making the meeting of the 24 October 2025 the final phase 2 Steering Committee meeting.

The Chair acknowledged the significant progress achieved over the past few years, thanked members for their contributions and sacrifices as committee members, and noted ongoing opportunities for members’ input and updates in the future.
