Welcome to the Inquiry’s public hearings. These hearings are open to the public and media. Below is some information on what to expect of the process as well as additional key information. Our location

We are located at 111 St Georges Terrace, Perth (One Eleven). Our building is on the corner of St Georges Terrace and William Street and is adjacent to Brookfield Place.

The building is close to:

  • The Esplanade and Elizabeth Quay train stations.
  • Elizabeth Quay bus port or buses along St Georges Terrace.

When you get here

When you have arrived at One Eleven, we ask that you make your way directly to the hearing room floor for minimal disruption to surrounding businesses as well as ensuring there is no obstruction to high traffic areas.

Signage will direct you to the lifts on the ground floor where you select level 18 and then proceed to the waiting area or Hearing Room 2 during sitting hours (part of the WA Industrial Relations Commission). Inquiry staff will be in attendance to assist.

Please ensure you adhere to the conditions of entry for the hearing room.

Hearing dates and times

Hearing dates and times are published on the website. Please monitor daily as the Hearing may be closed for private hearings during the course of the Inquiry.

Please note, no access will be permitted outside the Inquiry’s sitting times.


Ramp access to the building at One Eleven (corner St Georges Terrace and William Streets) is available at the St Georges Terrace entrance. All building entrances are fitted with electronic sliding door access activated by push buttons.

The building’s elevator system is fitted with accessibility features including sound and light signals for people with vision or hearing impairments. Please ask the Building Concierge on the ground floor for assistance if required.


The building is unable to provide onsite accessible parking however all day accessible parking is available at various locations as well as an accessible pick up and set down parking bay.

Breaks, food and beverages

There are a number of surrounding coffee shops, eateries and cafés which can be utilised.

In line with the conditions of entry, food or beverages will not be permitted in the hearing room or waiting areas.

Toilet facilities

Toilets including an accessible toilet are located on the ground floor and on level 18.
