2022 Annual liquor licence fee return

Apply to have your 2022 annual liquor licence fee/s refunded.

The State Government has waived the annual liquor licence fees/late penalty payments for 2022. Licensees are eligible for a refund as part of the COVID-19 relief package.

Online payments

If payment was made online by credit card, and that card is still valid, you do not need to provide any further information or contact the department. Your payment will automatically be refunded back to that card.

Other payments

If payment was made by another method, complete the online form.

You will need to provide:

  • liquor licence number/s
  • premises name/s
  • contact details — email and telephone number
  • proof of payment of initial fee and penalty (if relevant) — showing the date of payment, amount and payee (e.g. screenshot of transaction from your bank account or bank statement)
  • bank account details for payment of refund — bank account name, BSB and account number

Processing time

Due to the large number of annual licence fees to be refunded it may take 6 to 8 weeks to receive a refund of your annual licence fee and any late penalty fee you have paid.
