Some key things to consider in planning your campaign include:

• What are your core values and goals as a prospective candidate?
• What are the messages you wish to convey?
• What time and money are you willing to commit to campaigning?
• Are you going to undertake any fundraising activities?
• Who will be part of your campaign team?
• How are you going to get your message out to voters? This could include telephone calls, door knocking, speaking to local groups, pamphlets, social media and election posters.
