From Friday 24 April, until midnight Wednesday 13 May, organisations are able to apply for Lotterywest support through its COVID-19 Relief Fund involving the ‘Event Cancellation Relief and ‘Sector Support for Resilient Organisations’ short term grants programs.

Details include:

Event Cancellation relief for Arts, Sports and Community Groups

In partnership with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Lotterywest is providing up to $14 million to support not-for-profit arts, sports and community organisations which may have experienced financial hardship as a result of cancelled events due to COVID-19.

Sector Support for Resilient Organisations

A further $25 million will be available to support not-for-profit arts, sport and community organisations to help maintain staff, pivot operations, collaborate, develop new ways of working, innovate, maintain viability and build resilience as appropriate for future recovery.

These programs are in addition to the Crisis and Emergency Relief Fund, with these applications currently already open and progressing.

New grant requests will only be accepted if they align with the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund program criteria.
