It will now include a wider range of ticketed events, including tourism events and regional agricultural shows.
Since it was introduced in November 2020, the program has received 140 applications and provided more than $4.085 million in shared-risk support to impacted events.
The expanded program will be administered by DLGSC, in partnership with Tourism WA and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
Applications open in July 2021 until 31 March 2022.
