Lotterywest grant funds new tech for Bibbulmun Track

Hikers and volunteers who use the Bibbulmun Track will soon benefit from new online resources to help make their journey easier.

An $81,400 Lotterywest Grant, presented to the Bibbulmun Track Foundation, will contribute to the development of a new website, enabling visitors to better plan their trek.

The website will also include a new portal for the Bibbulmun Track Foundation's 400 volunteers, allowing them to connect and report on track conditions.

The Bibbulmun Track Foundation is an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation established to provide support for the management and maintenance of the Bibbulmun Track.

The foundation promotes the track to potential walkers and maintains it through a volunteer maintenance program.
