Social Media Self-Defence for local government employees and council members

The department has engaged the Office of the eSafety Commissioner to present Social Media Self-Defence webinars.

Content has been tailored to benefit local government employees and elected members in managing their online presence in consideration of their specific roles.

Webinars will be targeted to each audience to cover how to recognise and report online abuse. Participants will also learn how to set up social media accounts and profiles with safety in mind.
