Aboriginal Cultural Centre Steering Committee communique 6

The Aboriginal Cultural Centre (ACC) Steering Committee for Phase 2 held its sixth meeting on 24 April 2024.

Discussions included:

  • An overview of the work being undertaken by the Access and Mobility Working Group, including traffic analysis for the site location.
  • The formation of an Aboriginal Cultural Advisory Group to provide cultural guidance and decision making to the governance structure of the ACC.
  • Update on the work being undertaken for the Project Definition Plan including design, operating plans and content and activation.
  • Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) protocols for the ACC. A workshop to gain input into the protocols will be held on 7 May.
