The MyCouncil website provides a snapshot of geographic, demographic and financial information for local governments in Western Australia.
It supports greater transparency and accountability in local government by allowing comparisons of data over time and between councils.
Local governments and the community can now access a new Local Government Financial Indicator (LGFI) and updated financial data on MyCouncil.

It has been developed to better reflect changes to local government financial reporting requirements and make it easier for the community to interpret available data.
Thank you to local governments for their cooperation in validating data for this new feature, and to the WA Treasury Corporation, the WA Local Government Association and LG Professionals WA for their collaboration on its design and development.
MyCouncil has also been updated to include available demographic and financial data for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 financial years.
